Mark Steckhahn and Harriet Pfersch have been self-contained bicycling over the last twenty years around the globe. Both met at a bicycle club camping & biking weekend in 1993 and have been bike camping together ever since. Both enjoy the outdoors, going from place to place on their touring bikes, carrying their own gear, and camping along the way. They’ve crossed the United States, traveled from Germany to Austria, and visited both the North & South Islands of New Zealand, all on their touring bikes, self-contained, of course!
